Speaking of which, it was heartening to watch Shawn O'Donnell getting down in the trenches (or rather, ditches) with us. He spent the entire day with us, driving all the way from Fredericksburg and even staying for our post clean-up luncheon at Cynthia and Raymond's house. Shawn is certainly someone who understands what working from the grassroots is all about. A special thanks goes out to Raymond and Cynthia, as always, for being the gracious hosts. As you tend to your sore muscles and aching backs, you can take solace in the satisfaction of a job well done. |
